The first DEA-registered hemp testing lab in Texas just received their ISO 17025:2017 accreditation from Perry Johnson.
Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation announced they accredited the Van Nuys, California lab to ISO/IEC 17025 in a press release.
After a hard-fought battle lobbying for legislative change, the Arizona market is on track to begin requiring compliance testing for cannabis products in November. Scottsdale-based C4 Labs is ready with their new ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and expanded sample capacity.
The two companies are entering a partnership to establish the Hemp Science Center of Excellence, which will focus on genetics, biobanking, breeding and analysis.
The Warren, Michigan-based laboratory achieved ISO 17025 accreditation this week.
The series begins September 8 and runs through December 22. Registration is now open.
The Doane University lab, CTL, announced last week they have achieved ISO 17025 accreditation as required by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture, making them the first lab to do so.
Previously doing business as Deibel Laboratories, the newly-branded Deibel Bioscience, based in Santa Cruz, CA, recently achieved ISO 17025:2017 accreditation for cannabis testing.
According to a press release, the new course is sponsored by Agricultural Genomics Foundation and will teach students the evolutionary history and global distribution of cannabis genetics, while exploring the collection of cannabis research currently available.
The event was originally planned to take place October 21-23 in Schaumburg, Illinois. It is now being converted to a series of webinars that will take place every Tuesday over the course of eight weeks.
