The Oregon regulatory agency suspended the license Ecotest Labs, based in Phoenix, OR due to a number of violations including testing products at an unlicensed location in Hillsboro. The OLCC deemed that Ecolab’s operations were a “serious danger to public health and safety.”
The Vermont Senate voted to pass a bill that would legalize, regulate and tax cannabis sales back in late September. The Governor has just allowed that bill to become law.

Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation announced they accredited the Van Nuys, California lab to ISO/IEC 17025 in a press release.

Last week, A2LA announced that Trichome Analytical became the first cannabis lab in the state of New Jersey accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
This new curveball the DEA threw at the cannabis industry muddies the waters significantly. The DEA believes that, should the THC content exceed 0.3% THC at any point during the extraction process, processors will be considered to be in possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.
The Metrc seed-to-sale software system was awarded the state contract for the market. They expect to launch it in February 2021.
